A sort of coming-of age drama about a slightly pudgy girl growing up in the Spanish-speaking Los Angeles Latino subculture. She struggles with issues of attractiveness, weight, education, factory work, family. I didn't like it, but perhaps it's just my gender that's wrong. PG-13 for showing women in rather large bras and sexual situations.
