This spoof of folk music is not laugh-out-loud funny very often, but is somehow hugely entertaining. The amazing thing is how little has to be adjusted to turn reality into total goofiness. But be warned that you may find that after watching this movie your enthusiasm for the Kingston Trio and the New Christie Minstrels has faded a tad.

I also loved this musical mockumentary, but like most of its ilk, not very fast-moving, and the humor is subtle. More like story-telling than joke-telling, but very entertaining.
