I liked this movie more than I thought I would. Be warned, the violence in this film is over the top, but it's also cartoony and silly, such as a fountain of blood erupting from a neck with no head. Blood and violence are art in this film. I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel.

I also liked this movie more than I thought I would. The cartoon violence was a bit over the top for me, but also entertaining in it's ridiculousness. I stuck it out to find out....something. I was looking forward to Kill Bill 2, but I guess that is another review... Tarentino does do a good job of picking an interesting musical score...

Come on, guys. It was like Rambo meets... well, Quentin Tarantino. It had about two good parts (such as the tiny daughter walking in on her mom involved in a vicious life-or-death catfight) and other than that it was a waste of time. No plot worth mentioning, and totally unbelievable. Just silly violence. I'm not sure I'll even bother to see the sequel.
PS: After I saw the second one, I appreciated this one a lot more, and upped my grade. This one didn't make much sense to me alone, but the two should really be appreciated as a whole, in which case they shine.
