I found this movie to be very repetitive and very confusing. I couldn't for the life of me make sense of it...then I realized that my dvd player was set on 'random.' : ) (I woudn't recommend using that setting for movies.) But by the time I came to that realization I had done my 2 hours and didn't want to spend another 2 hours at it.... I imagine it could have been moderately interesting if watched from beginning to end.

Finally, a good movie..and your kids can watch it! It's about a Maori girl who's born a twin but her brother, who the family believes will be the new chief, dies just after birth along with their mom. Her dad leaves town and she's brought up by her grandpa. It's a great story with some funny dialog and some interesting Maori culture. Plus you get NZ scenery and accents.... : )
