Big day for developmental milestones. First time... what would you call it, problem-solving? We were at the park, and recent rain left puddles at the bottom of the slide. I said you don't want to slide there, you'll get your butt all wet. She said we should get a napkin out of the truck (well, "cruck") and clean up the water. Good idea!

It was too much water to clean up with a napkin, but I did get a blanket out of the cruck and mop up the water so she could slide.

Later, at dinnertime, she sang the Alphabet Song full out! I've never heard her make it more than about five letters, but she sang every single one (ok some of the sounds are approximated), very close to on-key, and "next time won't you sing with me!"
