I've been playing "who dat?", my own little version of peekaboo, with Amber almost since she was born. When I'm coming from another room or something, I go to a doorway or just out of sight and say "who dat? who dat?" before presenting myself. She knows the game and is always very happy to look for me and delighted when I show up.

Today she turned the tables on me! We were getting ready for dinner, and she walked around the island and started making noises, not really hiding but sort of surprising. Of course I said "who dat? who dat?" when I couldn't really see her, and burst out in elation "there she is! there she is" when I saw her. So she went around the island to the other side and did the same, and back and forth a few times. Such a fun game!
