Well first words seem to be kind of a vague notion... she talks a lot, in words that are mostly her own, but sometime there are semblances of English or Russian words.

Tonight Vera was reading her a book that had a lot of "night, night" in it and Amber started saying "ni' ni'", mimicking her, enough that she even captured a video of her saying it. But it was still just mimickry; if there is one thing she doesn't know anything about, it's night-night. She never willingly goes to sleep at all, and if you try to put her in any sleeping-type position, she'll fight you for that.
