Eye Tracking | | fritz | Mar 13, 2021 | Today we really saw Amber eye-tracking. I was playing with her "kiss kitty", moving it around from side to side, and she was just following, mostly by turning her head (as opposed to by moving her eyes).
While she's been looking intensely at things for several weeks, it seems she can only just lock onto them, sort of randomly, and she loses her lock a lot.
For at least the last week or so, she likes it when I hold her with her head upside-down, kind of hanging off the side of my arm, I think because then there is no friction and she can turn her head freely. We walk around the house like that and she looks at everything upside-down, especially the aquarium.
Today I held her in that position and she just turned her head all the way to the left, then to the right, back and forth like she was watching a (rather slow) tennis match. I think she was just practicing the skill. | Next: Looking at Us |
