The lizardfolk are taken somewhat by surprise, though they were cautious enough to expect an attack. The adventurers are all grouped together whereas the lizardfolk are spread around the camp, so the adventurers have the upper hand and kill three of them before they can really group up. Elbolin takes some pretty significant hits, and being low on health, runs and hides between the lean-tos. Leosin remains in hiding and doesn't join the battle. Jamna doesn't fight either, instead sneaking up to hide between the canoes.
