All is quiet. They pause for a minute, not sure what to do next. Then Leosin calls down from the balcony above, "hey, is that you guys?"

"Yeah, we're down here," answers Hooflepoof.

Leosin comes down the stairs, and seeing all the carnage, says "Holy mackerel, what happened here?"

"Elbolin started it," says Hooflepoof, laughing. Then, as if correcting himself, says "There was a kitchen fire. They blamed it on us. They captured some of us, what could we do but fight back? Where were you through all this?"

"After we jumped out the window, I came around and tried to help people, fighting the fire and treating the injured. But then I saw the cultists in uniforms, and saw that they were after you guys for some reason, and I was afraid that they would think I was one of you - and I guess I sort of am - but anyway I hid in one of the upstairs rooms until the fighting stopped. Looks like you've killed Bog Luck's right-hand man. I don't know how many cultists are here, but we'd better split before the dragon cult sends an army."

"Where should we go?" asks Elbolin.

"Well I still want to follow that loot. That trail in the woods was leading somewhere, and wherever that is, I want to find out. I don't think we should try to go through the tunnel, though. I'm not even sure the entrance to it is still standing, and if it is, it's probably well guarded. We should probably go around on the path that we marked last time we went out there."

"We have to find our weapons first," says Elbolin. "They took them away from me, Gourbain, and Barry when we were captured."

"Oh, great," says Leosin. "Well find them fast, because we really can't afford to wait around."

"I'll go look for them," says Hooflepoof, putting on his Cloak of Invisibility. Elbolin tells him where they were held captive, and Hooflepoof sneaks back into that room in the stable. The door to the room is wide open, and there is nothing in the stable room except hay and horse poop.
