To Mom, Birthday 2019 | | fritz | Oct 1, 2019 | Some presents are biggish, some presents are small And some others, you know, can’t be wrapped up at all So what some people do, whether better or worse Is to write up a poem - some call it a curse.
Some presents are toolish; some others plain fun With so many to think of, it’s hard to choose one There are some for relaxing, but this one is great For those times when you’ve just got too much on your plate When your cup runneth over, of others you’ll speak But when your cup is empty, this present you’ll seek
And so if I’m right, and I tell you no jive You should be quite expecting this thing to arrive On the ninth of October, with minimal bitchin’ And be shortly thereafter installed in your kitchen
