Sometimes, some presents, are easy to wrap
They are square, with square corners, which makes it a snap
You just roll it a couple times, tape it, and turn
All the corners all inside - it's easy to learn
Maybe slap on a bow or some other decor
And you're done, there's just no point to do any more
But sometimes another gift won't be so easy
Like maybe it's oddly-shaped, softish, or 'greezy'
Or maybe it's slimy, or maybe it squirms
Like that one time I gifted my good friend some worms
Um, but anyway, we're not just talkin' 'bout snacks
We're talking 'bout wrap-up-ability that lacks
In some gifts, and the troubles that such things present
I was starting to say that - well, that's what I meant
So this present - there is one, you can be assured
Will be worth tracking down, that I'll give you my word
Because it's from everyone under the sun
Pretty much the whole family pitched in on this one
But then it came time to present it, and we
Were like how can we hide this? Put it in a tree?
We were stumped, we were stymied, we almost gave up
But we hit on a plan, and discussed it straight up
So it's hidden, well sort of, you ain't seen it yet
And you prob'ly can find it, if you don't forget
Pretty sure when you get on the trail, you'll know
Just go out the driveway, and look for the bow.
(It was a bicycle, which was in the back of Fritz's truck, marked with a bow. However, when we went out there, the bow was on the patio, one of the little kids had found it and pulled it off. But she found it anyway,) |
