I'm talk to Scott, my dad's previous renter, on the phone. He talks me into trading his car for my Subaru plus $2400 (or was it $1200, one of the two). I agree, just to be nice.
His car is a tan sedan, which seems small and old. It's been impeccably cleaned, but it still seems worn, and it smells like stale smoke inside. I'm not happy with it. It seems like it is worth much less than my Subaru, certainly not $2400 more, even though research reveals that it is several years newer and has fewer miles on it - it's practically new, though it doesn't seem so. |
