It's night, and I'm at a strange 7-11 store in a strange place. The store is raised a few feet above the sidewalk, and the front side of the rectangular store is completely open. I'm standing on the sidewalk looking up into the store, pondering whether to go up in there to buy something. It seems really dirty and scummy. An employee starts yelling at me that dogs aren't allowed in the store. I look around, and as usual Bella is lurking around not far behind my feet. She isn't "in the store", but there's a yellow line on the sidewalk, outlining an area in front of the store, and she's within that rectangle.

I object mildly that they can't keep dogs off the sidewalk, but Bella turns into a small beetle that then scampers along the pavement and right under somebody's boot. Though I leap to the boot to try and stop them, when they move their foot, there is nothing but a very flat and smashed beetle.

I'm very upset and angry about this, but I go into the 7-11 anyway because I need something, and angrily tell them they are the worst 7-11 I have ever encountered.
