We're at the coast, staying in a house on high bluff overlooking the ocean. We're planning to go for a swim, but there is an unusually high tide, where the water is all the way to the foundations of the houses. I don't even think it's probably safe to swim, with the waves lapping right up to the joists, though some kids are out there swimming.

I take a walk along the beach, and find a place that looks really awesome for snorkeling. It is shallow a long way out, with a lot of large round rocks, and there are a lot of birds visible. I must come back here with a snorkel. When I get back to our cabin, the tide has gone back to normal.
