I'm in Hawaii, near the end of a trip. We've spent a lot of time at the beach because we took some sort of class or something down there, but I haven't got to go snorkeling. I don't have any snorkeling equipment, and it seems it's too late to buy anything, I wouldn't have room in my luggage, so I'd have to leave it behind. I'll probably only get to go out once. Then I remember that there's a scuba shop just like a block away; I bet they have equipment I can rent. I'm asking everybody when we actually have to leave. Surprisingly it's isn't obvious, I thought it was later today but two people tell me it's tomorrow. That's great, I have some time. So I'm looking in my baggage for some shorts to wear, and it's very hot outside. I find some blue cotton shorts; no, too hot for those. Then I find the very thin ones that I wore in Hong Kong, where it was very hot and muggy. Those are perfect.
